Deminor Italia offers a wide range of services to active investors

 

Deminor was launched in Italy in 2002. From the beginning Deminor Italia has focused on advisory and defence of institutional investors, minority shareholders of listed companies, with particular reference to defending minority shareholders' rights in M&A transactions (mergers, acquisitions, residual tender offers, etc.) where conditions proposed for the transactions are prejudicial to the interests of minority shareholders. Deminor Italia has represented minority shareholders in public cases such as Freedomland, Snia, Fondiaria Assicurazioni, Telecom Italia/Olivetti, Banca Popolare di Milano, Banca Popolare di Bergamo, Acqua Pia Marcia, Banca Antonveneta, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, etc.

 

An important core business of Deminor Italia is focused on advisory and assistance to investors (institutional and private ones) in order to evaluate and file the most appropriate actions (including legal actions) for damage recovery (either as a consequence of a fraud or as a consequence of failure in implementing mandatory provisions). Currently the most important active "Damage Recovery" cases Deminor Italia is working on are Fondiaria Assicurazioni and Parmalat.
