Carrere Group

Claim of shareholders of Carrere Group

Deminor was appointed by shareholders holding more than 12% of Carrere group's share capital in order to take all actions which could help the shareholders recover their losses. Deminor shall undertake all measures deemed useful or necessary against the company, Carrere Group, its managers and any other person responsible for those losses.

After seven years of positive financial communication, Carrere Group asked for a trading halt on 31 March 2008 and announced the existence of very serious financial difficulties. Consequently, Mr Claude Carrere, manager and founding shareholder of Carrere Group filed a petition to the Tribunal to benefit from a restructuring procedure, opened on 30 December 2008.

Shareholders of Carrere Group have filed a claim on 28 January 2010. This claim was sent to the Public prosecutor of the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Bobigny.

The Management of Carrere Group is suspected by shareholders to have presented false accounts and to have published inaccurate information.

The case has been transmitted to the Parquet of the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris, which is competent to investigate.

If the managers are found guilty, the lawyer in charge will be able to request a compensation for the losses suffered by the shareholders.
